The following is slightly more detailed information:

About myself:- my own driving qualifications are:-
1) Motorcycle driving test passed 1st time (1964)
2) Car driving test passed 1st time (1966)
3) Institute of Advanced Motorist Test passed 1st time (1976)
4) RoSPA Advanced Driving Test passed 1st time (1993)
5) DIAmond Advanced Motorists Test passed 1st time (1995)
6) Cardington Special Test for Driving Instructors passed 1st time (1996)
In all I have been driving in this country and occasionally abroad for 46 years.

My instructional qualifications are:-
1) Department of Transport Approved Driving Instructor exams, theory,
practical and instructional passed 1st time (1977).
2) DIA/AEB Diploma in Driving Instruction passed 1st time (1995-96)
3) DIAmond Advanced Instructor status achieved (1996)
4) DSA Approved Fleet Register Trainer (Category B Vehicles) (2003)
I have been teaching L-driving for over 34 years, originally in London and now in Milton Keynes, and achieve an average annual pass rate of almost 70%, compared to a national average of fewer than 46%. I am rightly proud of this; however, both the instructor and the learner must work hard if they are to achieve their aims.
